當貝多芬的「快樂頌」碰上了黑人靈魂福音樂，會冒出什麼火花呢？
說到一般華人對黑人靈魂福音歌曲的了解，就要歸功這部電影 sister act 《修女也瘋狂》，主角Whoopi Goldberg 在電影中為了躲避黑幫不得不避入修道院假裝修女，還率領詩班唱起振奮人心的福音詩歌，如：I will follow you，My god 等等，讓死氣沈沈的宗教也因此活潑了，在第二集中還帶領唱詩班巡迴las Vegas 並拯救了許多青少年。曾在1999年勇奪五項葛來美獎的知名R&B 歌手 Lauryn Hill，也是從在修女也瘋狂2片中發跡，在片中她演唱了一首聖歌 His eyes in on the Sparrow 也讓人聽得如癡如醉！
其中一首改編自貝多芬第九交響曲快樂頌的黑人福音靈歌Joyful joyful更是這部電影的重點歌曲！此原聲帶製作人Marc Shaiman，是兼具電影配樂與流行歌曲的音樂奇才，將許多百年古老聖詩帶到另一個層次，不但跟百老匯音樂劇結合，連當年的巨星Janet Jackson的暢銷單曲“What Have You Done For Me Lately”.也被巧妙的融入歌曲之中.把Me 改成了Him(祂).What have you done for Him lately? Ooh, ooh, ooh yeah ….趕快一起來聽聽吧！
